- I am currently a Cardiovascular Pharmacogenomics Research Fellow and a MPH Candidate at the University of Illinois at Chicago. I am a 2009 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy.I then completed my residency in pharmacy practice at the Yale New Haven Hospital and then in Cardiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
My experience working at a small rural hospital in Namitete, Malawi during my first year of residency sparked my interest in global health and helping with NCDS in lower and middle income countries. I am striving to use my training in cardiovascular pharmacotherapy and pharmacogenomics to help prevent/improve NCD related outcomes.
