Tanzania cancer registry project: We are working on using cheap novel technology to create a valid and complete cancer registry. Having sound epidemiological data is critical as we work on developing cancer control programs in low and middle income countries.
"VISHWAS- A Model of Physician Leadership: Vishwas is a model of physician leadership where we will train family physicians to solve complex social problems, and place them in the heart of the community to act as agents of social change. These physicians will be supported by an interdisciplinary team of allied health professionals, and in addition to primary care will assume leadership for a variety of health promotion and community development initiatives.
Shusmita Hossain Khan
Bridging the gap for saving women's life from preventable cancer: This project will bridge the gap of access to health services and care related to cervical and breast cancer of women living in vulnerable areas of Bangladesh, i.e. slums in urban areas and remote rural areas. This whole project is being planned to get executed with youth involvement for planning, coordinating and implementation of the project.
